Materials:
glue
scissors
2 to 4 shoeboxes
markers or paint
pieces of cardboard for dividers
Directions
1. Draw a window on the left side of one shoebox and the right side of
the other. Some students may want to cut out the windows, or they may be
painted on instead.
2. Join 2 shoeboxes together side by side, or stack 4 boxes for a two-story
house; gIue together sides that were not drawn . May add more boxes (stacked)
for an apartment.
3. Each box can be sectioned off using cardboard as a divider. Furniture
may be made from odds and ends, such as cut-out pictures from catalogs,
scraps of paper, smaller boxes, thread spools, etc.
