Grade 2-3 Unit Goals
Unit Title: CONSTRUCTION
Unit Goals:
At the completion of this unit, the student will:
A. Understand specific activities involved in various jobs.
B. Identify different types of houses.
C. Determine how each worker is important to the overall project.
D. Determine tools of each trade.
E. Be aware of different materials used in building.
F. Be able to relate tools to specific jobs.
Note:
This unit specifies a two-to-three day usage that can be extended if so desired.
The units are designed to include enough materials to allow the teacher to choose elements best suited for a given class. Selecting
particular objectives is possible if the entire plan cannot be implemented.
